As a satellite provider, it is important to optimize utilization, through planning, in order to maximize profit for your satellite.
While there can be bottlenecks in the process, such as on-board storage capacity, downlink speed, and time between ground stations, the following approach is recommended within these constraints.
1. Collect tasking orders, in descending priority
2. Maximize remaining capacity, to capture archive imagery and populate your catalog.

Within TerraStream, there is functionality to specify a priority for each tasking order, in addition to setting different pricing for each priority level. This allows you to automatically prioritize your taskings.

While prioritizing tasking orders is straightforward due to the priority levels, deciding how to prioritize your remaining capacity is not.
The following approach is recommended.
1. Calculate remaining capacity, after tasking priorities have been removed.
2. Sub-divide the orbit, based on downlinking opportunities, using your ground station locations.
3. Determine the bottleneck in imagery capture, for your satellite between each ground station (storage capacity, downlinking speed and duration, or other, based on your satellite's unique constraints).
4. Utilize the TerraStream Market Demand dashboard, to determine areas with demand, that intersect with the orbit, to maximize imagery capture:
